Rachel Prevatte Tilley, age 85, of Lumberton, NC died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Glen Flora in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 19, 1928 to the late Thomas Prevatte and the late Ruth Parker Prevatte. She previously worked as a salesperson for Tomlinson's. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, T.J. Prevatte and a sister Ailene Prevatte West. Mrs. Tilley is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard "Dick" Tilley of the home; a son, Alvin J. Bullock and wife Julie of Raleigh; a sister, Ruby Prevatte Brown 0f Lumberton; a sister-in-law, Jewel E. Prevatte of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Mary Amy Bullock and Clifford J. Bullock; and a host of nieces and nephews.
