Rachel Rebecca "Becky" Lewis Alsup, 73, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. She was born in Robeson County on August 19, 1949, the youngest daughter of the late Capt. Bruce Lewis and Lila Baker Lewis.

Becky was a loving mother and grandmother and a devoted and caring wife. She loved to ride horses. She was a Robeson County Deputy Sheriff and jailer and took pride in all she did.

Becky is survived by her older brother, Grant Lewis, and her sister, Janette Bryant. She is also survived by her son, Kyle Rash, and her granddaughters, Gabriella Rash and Hanah Rash; and her husband, Wayne Alsup, her stepsons, Jonathan and David Alsup, and her step-granddaughter, Coral Alsup.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 5:00-7:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 1:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Father Gene Wayman officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
