Mrs. Maude Rachel Altman Gregory, age 96, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020, at Wesley Pines Retirement Center in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Harnett County, NC on August 29, 1924 to the late George Albert Altman and the late Zora Tart Altman. She retired from the NC Dept. of Transportation after many years and also from Walmart, where she was a greeter.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Lee Gregory, along with two brothers and seven sisters.

She is survived by her son, Rickey Lee Gregory and wife Mickey of Lumberton, NC; two grandchildren, Kelli Willoughby and husband Rex of Chapel Hill, NC and Erick Gregory of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; and five great-grandchildren: Ty, Leah, and Reese Willoughby and Mitchell and Clifton Gregory.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Devotional Gardens in Dunn, NC with Rev. Randy Beasley officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends at the graveside.
