Rachel Margaret Lamb Brisson, age 87, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born November 14, 1930 in Robeson County to the late Randall Lamb and the late Annie Tyler Powers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Scott Brisson; one daughter, Patricia Ann; four brothers: R.M. Lamb, Jr., Richard Lamb, Hollis Lamb, and Horace Lamb; and two sisters: Ernestine Green and Betty Isom.

She is survived by two sons: Scott Brisson, Jr. and wife Debbie of Myrtle Beach, SC and Timothy Brisson and wife Lynn of Mansfield, TX; one daughter, Rachel Diane Rogers of Lumberton; six grandchildren: Chris Brisson, Brian Brisson, Ashley Carroll, Christy Rogers, Travis Brisson, and James Brisson; eight great-grandchildren; and six sisters: Edna Benton of Lumberton, Dorothy Simmons of High Point, Ruby Davis of Greensboro, Vivian Greenwood of Lumberton, Carole Spencer of Lumberton, and Martha Singleton of Stricker, OH.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 PM at East Lumberton Church of God.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 11:00 AM at East Lumberton Church of God with Pastor Bruce Brumfield, Rev. L.F. Hatchell, and Rev. Thomas Britt officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.
