Mrs. Rachael Carnes Prado, age 48, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019. She was born on May 28, 1971 in Germany to Larry Carnes and the late Sandra Graves Carnes.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her father, Larry Carnes (Munjen) of Florence, SC; her husband, Rafael Prado, Jr. of the home; her son, Rafael Prado III of Lumberton; three brothers: Joshua Carnes of St. Pauls, NC and James Carnes and Jessie Carnes, both of Florence, SC; and one sister, Danielle Rupe (Antonio) of Belhaven, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 4:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Lumberton with Rev. LeRoy Burke officiating.
