Quessie Jewel Britt Wilcox, age 84, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024, at Wesley Pines Retirement Community in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on September 2, 1940 to the late Leonard & Velia Britt.

Before retirement, she was a sales associate. And, in her spare time, she loved to do arts & crafts and play BINGO. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wilcox; two brothers, Wilton Britt and James Howard Britt; and two sisters, Mary Frances Floyd and Shelby Tharp.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Wilcox and wife Barbara of Lumberton, NC; her daughters, Felicia Smith and husband Freddie and Brenda Lloyd and husband Allen, all of Lumberton, NC; her grandchildren: Jessica, Britt, Jonathan, Stephen, Kristin, Summer, and Hunter; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Madilane Shockley of Raeford, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Bailey Weeks officiating.
