Q.T. ??Tolly? Williams II, 74, of 2505 Riverwood Avenue, died Thursday, September 11, 2008
at his residence. He was born to the late Erwin T. and Lula Norment Williams on November 28,
1933 in Robeson County, NC.
Mr. Williams was a retired Fireman where he served over 30 years. He was the owner of
Carolina Improvement Company over 40 years.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Rogers Williams; his son, Michael D.
Williams; and his daughters, Mary Ruth ??Wendy? Williams.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen Williams Meredith of Lumberton and Nan Williams
Dolphens and husband, Mike of Germantown, TN; his brother, Erwin T. Williams Jr. and wife,
Sara of Lumberton; two sisters, Lula N. Williams Jr of Lumberton and Emily W. Bass and
husband, Barnett of Conyers, GA; three grandchildren, Rachel White, Bridgette Carter and
Michael White; and a special friend, Carolyn Anglin of Abbottsburg, NC.
The funeral service will be Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Floyd Memorial
Chapel with Rev. Joe Bounds, Dr. Russell Cherry and Dr. David Elks officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Floyd
Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
