Mr. Poe Leggett, age 88, of Fairmont passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

He was born on July 8, 1928 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena M. Leggett; his parents, C.P. and Berry J. Leggett; brothers, Hoke and Bobby Leggett; and sisters Opal Leggett, Senora Eggleston and Elga Johnson.

Surviving relatives include sons, Roger and Berry Leggett of Fayetteville, NC and Jeff (Linda) Leggett of Fairmont, NC; daughter, Jennifer (Karl) Walden of Ayden, NC; granddaughters, Lauren Anzelone, Jordana Leggett, Kara (Chad) Benton, Kasey (Corey) Taylor, and Morgan Leggett; and great-grandchildren, Cohen Anzelone, Kyle Anzelone, Jenna Benton, James Benton and Ava McCleverty.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 2:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to the services from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services.
