Mrs. Phyllis McCormick Taylor, age 50, of Fairmont, NC, departed from this life to her eternal home on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on September 7, 1970 to the late Larry and Patricia McCormick. She was employed at Cakes & Pastries in Lumberton, NC for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Taylor of the home; two sons, Gregory Taylor of the home and Brett Butler of Virginia; two brothers, Willie McCormick (Maria) of Floydale, SC and Robert McCormick (Jennifer) of Lumberton, NC; one sister, Marie Hedgpeth (Mark) of Orrum, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, May 30, 2021, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Royce Stone and Rev. Steve Britt officiating.
