Mrs. Phylis Warwick Leggett age 75, of Fairmont passed away June 22, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 7:00-9:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Mrs. Leggett was born July 12, 1940 in Robeson County to the late George and Theresa Yates Warwick.

Mrs. Leggett was owner and operator of Ms. Phil's Day Care, and a dedicated member of First Baptist Church as well as a dedicated Air Force wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, R. Wayne Leggett of the home; a son, George Dwayne Leggett and wife Linda of Red Springs; two daughters, Gina Leggett of the home and Melissa Leigh Leggett of Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandchildren, Taylor Nichole Stogner and Linda Paige Leggett; and a host of nieces, nephews as well as numerous close friends.
