Phillipine "Phyllis" Orchardo Bonsante, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2014. Born in Newark, NJ, Phillipine resided in Brooklyn, NY then moved to Monrovia, CA, where she lived for over 30 years with her husband, Victor. She then moved to Lumberton, NC and has been living here for the past 12 years. While in California, Phillipine worked for Unitek Corporation from 1966 until her retirement in 1987. She enjoyed traveling, needlecraft, and spending time with her family and friends. Phillipine was the beloved wife of the late Victor Bonsante. She was the beloved sister of the late Jack, Thomas, and Angelo Orchardo and her dear sisters, Margaret Ochardo, Elizabeth Mazzuto, and Josephine DiPisa. She is survived by her loving nieces, nephews, and stepbrother.
