Ms. Peggy Jean Pittman Wilkins, 81, of Albemarle, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on January 4, 1940 to the late Mard Pittman and the late Beatrice Parnell Pittman.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Pittman and Stephen Pittman, and three sisters: Barbara Pittman, Eunice Pittman Wilkins, and Doris "Dot" Pittman Waddell.

She is survived by two brothers, Mard Pittman, Jr. and Tommy Pittman, both of Bladenboro, NC; three sisters: Ruby Pittman and Esther Alford, both of Lumberton, NC, and Nell Taylor of Bladenboro, NC; her fiancé, Bill Prevatte; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 5089 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
