Peggy MacLaren Davis, age 83, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born on February 22, 1926 to John Leslie MacLaren and Eunice Klarpp MacLaren in Robeson County, NC. He worked as a business manager at Williamson Motors.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Everett Holland Davis Sr.

Mrs. Davis is survived by Everett (Chip) Davis and wife Nancy of Lumberton, NC and two special friends, James Henry McKellar and Clarece Graham.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Matthew Rich officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, January 27, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
