Peggy Phillips Britt, age 78, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022. She was born on March 26, 1944 to the late Raymond & Virginia Phillips.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Jack Phillips, Faye Brown, Tom Phillips, and Gloria Tyner.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Barry Donald Britt of the home; her children, Donald Britt and wife Carol of Lumberton, NC and Tanya Coggins and husband Kelly of Elon, NC; her grandchildren: Paige Britt Lee (Derrick) of Lumberton, NC, Madalyn Britt, Cameron Britt, Peyton Coggins, Logan Coggins, and Lauren Coggins; a sister, Dale Johnson and husband Danny; and many nieces and nephews who loved and treasured her dearly.

The family will be gathering at the home of Barry & Peggy Britt.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Michael S. Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
