Pearl Fitzer Hopper, age 98, of Lumberton, NC died on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 27, 1912 to Sigmund and Annie Heenan Fitzer. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Charles William Hopper of the home; two step-sons, David Hopper and wife, Leslie of Winnabow, NC and Randy Hopper of Lumberton, NC; one step-daughters, Robin Martinez of Fairmont, NC and Nessa Russo of Brooklyn, NC; eleven grandchildren and twelve, great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday , October 31, 2010 at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
