Mrs. Pauline Bullock Floyd, age 87, formerly of 1169 Barnes Road of Orrum, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton. She was born in Horry County, SC on October 31, 1927 to the late John and Madeline Smith Bullock. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dempsey B. Floyd, and three brothers: Alvin J. Bullock, J.H. Bullock, and Eugene Bullock. She is survived by one son, John D. Floyd of Lumberton, one daughter, Iris Floyd Locklear and husband, Stephen, of Maxton, two grandchildren: Stephanie McGirt and husband, Tony, and Stephen Baker Locklear and wife, Veronica; four great grandchildren: Michaela Locklear, Mason Locklear, Troy McGirt, and Tanner McGirt; and a host of nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM in Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tommy Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith.
