Paul Walters TSgt. US Air Force, retired, 88, went home to be with the Lord on April 14,2025.

Mr. Walters was born August 22, 1936 in Robeson County NC, to the late Robert Walters and the late Bertha Hayes Walters.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Gutherie Walters and Roger Walters; sisters, Geraldine Ivey, Margaret Richardson and Sara Bass.

Paul is survived by two brothers, Lacy Walters (Belinda) of Charlotte, Ronald Walters of Gastonia and a sister, Betty Kirby of Mullins, a special sister-in-law, Pam Walters and a host of nieces and nephews.

Paul served in the United States Air Force and as a civil service employee at Pope Air Force Base. He was a member of Baltimore Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.  He was a Master Mason, member of the Eastern Star and a Shriner.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 from 12:00-1:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow in the chapel at 1:00PM.
