Patty Faye Chavis' Obituary
Patty Faye Chavis, age 60, of 179 Buck Trail Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Chavis was born in Robeson County on October 21, 1955 to the late Roy Novey Stone, Jr. & Thelma Watts Stone.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Nathan Louis Chavis.
She is survived by her husband Laure Chavis of the home; 1 daughter, Tabatha Chavis; 2 granddaughters: Brittney Chavis & Samantha Chavis; 1 brother, Donald Stone; 2 sisters: Carolyn Stone & Teresa Bowen; 2 nephews: Donnie Stone & Jimmy Stone; 2 nieces: Connie Cruz & Terra Hammonds, all of Lumberton; a special mother, Elizabeth Hunt; and a very special godson, Otis Tyndall.
A time of visitation will be on Tuesday evening, March 1, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Smyrna Baptist Church, 8330 Hwy 211 E in Lumberton.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Pevia and Brother Homer Fields officiating. Burial will follow the service at Robeson Memorial Park.
