Mr. Patrick Howard Locklear, 54, of 3430 Popes Crossing Road, Lumberton, NC, transitioned peacefully to his Heavenly Eternal Home on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, while surrounded by his family. He was born in Lumberton, NC to Suzette Locklear Taylor and the late Robert Paul Locklear.

In addition to his Daddy, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gus Howard & Eva Mae Locklear; his paternal grandparents, Irvin "Hez" and Christine Chavis Locklear; an aunt he affectionally called "Mama", Sylvia Locklear Sanderson; his in-laws, Maurice & Shirley Britt; a brother-in-law, Jefferey Oliver Britt; a sister-in-law, Julie Britt; and a great-nephew, Legend Lei Chavis.

Patrick is survived by his wife of 28 years, Belinda Britt Locklear, who also happens to share the same birthday as him; three daughters: Brittany Jones of Maxton, NC, Ashley "Sissy Girl" Jacobs and Makaila "Boodee Doodee" Locklear-Wright (Jacob Wright), both of Lumberton, NC; five grandsons: Sakoma Powers, Ma'Kyian Powers, Brylon Powers, all of Maxton, NC, and Jaxton "Cracker Jack" Holmes and Isaiah "Hot Rod Harry" Wright, both of Lumberton, NC; one granddaughter, Amelia "Bookie Dook" Wright of Lumberton, NC; his Mama, Suzette Locklear Taylor of Pembroke, NC; three sisters, Sabrina Sanderson-Floyd (Michael Floyd) and Kristy Gerald (Jeremy), both of Lumberton, NC, and Jacinta Locklear, of Pembroke, NC; two brothers, Fred Javonis Pedro (Valerie) of Lake Waccamaw, NC and Samuel Pedro (Kimberly Locklear) of Pembroke, NC; two special uncles, whom he referred to as his brothers, Dexter Locklear of Pembroke, NC and Dwylan Locklear (Sheila) of Rowland, NC; six nieces and six nephews; one great-niece and two great-nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.

Patrick was deeply devoted to his family and fast cars, but his love for the Lord surpassed all else. He will be remembered affectionately by all for the stories he told and his unrelenting passion and desire to be right or offering sound explanations and reasons for his actions and thoughts. He was affectionally known as "Patty Cake", "Patrinda", "Belintrick", and "Daddy Rabbit".

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM.
