Ms. Patricia Ann Locklear Thomas, age 69, of Lumberton, NC passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Regency Hospital in Florence, SC.

She was born July 16, 1954 in Robeson County to the late Carl Locklear and the late Annie Jane Hunt Locklear. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William "Buck" Thomas,  July 1, 2023 ; two brothers, Glenn Locklear and Daniel Locklear; a sister, Rosa Lee Locklear.

She loved spending time with her family, doing crafts and puzzles. She will also be remembered for playing basketball in her younger years.

Ms. Patricia is survived by a daughter, Litisha Thomas of Lumberton, NC; three brothers, Rev. Tracy Locklear and wife Ruby of McDonald, NC, James Locklear and wife Wanda of Lumberton, NC, and Carl Locklear, Jr. of Pembroke, NC; one sister, Mary Ann Locklear of Fairmont, NC; two grandchildren, Abryanna Thomas and Radian Thomas, and a great host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Tracy Locklear and Rev. Eugene Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in Fairpoint Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
