Mrs.  Patricia Ann Smith, 70, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was born in Robeson County, NC on January 20, 1951, to the late Kenneth Council and the late Ann Bachelor Council.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lynwood Smith, and two brothers, Johnny Council and Joey Council.

She is survived by two sons, William David Lee and wife Tina of Stroudsburg, PA and Terry Lynn Hayes of Lumberton, NC; a daughter, Nicola Hayes of Bladenboro, NC; five grandchildren; three brothers: Glennwood Council and wife Martel and Phil Council and wife Cindy, all of Lumberton, NC, and Edward Council and wife Michelle of Fayetteville, NC; and three sisters: Brenda Council, Peggy Cunningham, and Linda Moody and husband Darrel, all of Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Donald Barnes officiating.
