Patricia Bruce "Patty" Parnell, age 66, of Lumberton, went to be with her Heavenly Savior on Friday, December 26, 2025.  She was born in Scotland County, NC on December 8, 1959 to the late John "Doc" Bruce and Sue Bruce.  She was previously employed with Piedmont Natural Gas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Parnell and two infant sisters, Linda Bruce and Jennifer Bruce.

She is survived by her three siblings, Dianne B. Freeman (Bernie), Johnny Bruce and Joey Bruce (Debbie), all of Lumberton; her brother-in-law and fishing buddy, Tim Parnell (Gay) of Supply and several nieces and nephews and their families.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 2:00-3:00PM at Sandhill Baptist Church in Lumberton.

A funeral service will follow on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 3:00PM at Sandhill Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Bruce officiating.  Burial with follow at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.
