Patricia "Pat" Evans Nance, age 76, passed away at her home on Friday, September 18, 2015. She was born in Robeson County, NC on August 8, 1939 to the late Lawrence and Eva Johnson Evans. She previously was employed in retail sales. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, M.C. Nance; and a brother, Elton Evans. Mrs. Nance is survive by a son, Craig Nance (Teresa) of Lumberton; a daughter, Denise Walters (Michael) of Lumberton; brothers, Jim Evans, L.M. Evans, and Dickie Evans all of Lumberton; a sister, Loyce Sanderson of Lumberton; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
