Mrs. Patricia Lane Grooms Dew, age 79, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 23, 1941 to the late Thomas Grooms and the late Rebecca Williamson. She was formerly employed with JC Penney.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Maurice Dew.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Maurice Dew, Jr. (Helen) of Bladenboro, NC; two daughters, Angie Floyd (Jack) and Tamera Dew-Owens (Terry), all of Lumberton, NC; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Tommy Grooms (Diane) of Hendersonville, NC; and one sister, Pamela Britt (Tommy) of Sanford, NC.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Bladenboro Church of God, 702 W. Seaboard Street in Bladenboro, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. O'Neil Parker officiating.

Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
