Mrs. Pamela Denise Johnson, age 65, of Bladenboro, NC, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at LifeCare Hospice House in Whiteville, NC. She was born in Lumberton, NC on August 22, 1960 to the late William Stanley & Alma Jewel Durden.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt to all. When able, she enjoyed being a caregiver to her family. She loved horses, her family,  and her dog, Chester. She was a faithful member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church for many years.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Jason Caison; her step-grandson, Trent Sessoms; and her brother-in-law, Tony Walters.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronnie Wayne Johnson of the home; her daughter, Tabitha Sessoms (Tony) of Bladenboro, NC; her grandson, Justin Johnson (Kayla), and his son, Holden Blake, of Bladenboro, NC; her step-granddaughter, Taylor Skipper (Josh) of Bladenboro, NC; her brother, Willie Durden of Bladenboro, NC; her sisters, Judy Walters of Bladenboro, NC, Lisa Rogers (Rick) of Hickory, NC, and Debbie Durden; her niece, Sonja Hilburn (Keith), of Bladenboro, NC and her children, Kinley and Weston Hilburn; her nephew, Willie Durden III (Sandy), and his children, Will and Walker Durden; and her niece, Ricki Lynn Rogers, and her son, J.B.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 6414 Center Road in Bladenboro, NC, with Pastor Jay Dorman officiating. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery.
