Oscar Oxendine's Obituary
Oscar Oxendine, age 84, of Lumberton passed away May 12, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County on April 6, 1928 to the late Luther Fairfax and Mattie Oxendine. He was previously employed as a boat craftsman.
Mr. Oxendine is survived by his wife, Vivian Oxendine, of the home; a daughter, Crystal Oxendine, of Lumberton; and a brother, Carson Oxendine, of Fairmont.
A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Faith of Calvary Baptist Church, Lumberton, from 7:00-9:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Faith of Calvary Baptist Church at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Fairpoint Cemetery in Fairmont.
