Mr. Ollie Frank "OF" Grier, age 90, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2pm at Oakdale Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

He was born February 24, 1928 in Hemmingway, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Grier and Evelyn Moore Grier Horne; and a brother, Ernest Grier.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Alfreda Bass Grier of the home; a son, Dr. Terry Grier (Nancy) of Wilmington; a son, Mitch Grier (Louise) of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Leigh Grier Grimsley (Patrick) of Fort Mill, SC, Ashley Grier of Fairmont, Dr. Jason Grier (Angella) of Sumter, SC; two step-granddaughters, Danielle Peckham of Houston TX, and Anna P. Richardson of Tampa FL; two great-grandsons, Rylee Mitchell Martin of Fairmont, and Brooks Isaiah Grier of Sumter, SC; a step-great-grandson, Nolan Richardson of Tampa, FL.

Mr. Grier was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church, where he served as deacon chairman for thirty years, and also a Mason and Shriner. He was a former business owner in Fairmont for over fifty years.
