Mrs. Ola Maxine Benton Walters, age 81 of Orrum, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Revs. Brian Perry and Amanda Bunce officiating.

Burial will follow in the Walters Family Cemetery in Orrum.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

She was born June 28, 1934 in Hamer, SC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Benton and Eula Mae Hodge Benton.

She is survived by her husband, Norman T. Walters, Sr. of the home; four sons, Norman T. Walters Jr. "Tommy", of Orrum, Ernest Ray Walters and John Wayne Walters both of the home, and David Earl Walters, (Renee) of Tar Heel; three daughters, Eula Mae Williamson (Dennis), Norma Jean McLellan, and Catherine Lynn Edwards (Robert), all of Orrum; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
