Ola Mae Prevatte Hall, age 85, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at UNC Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County on April 22, 1939 to the late Theodore E Prevatte and the late Esther Bruce Prevatte.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford W. Branscum; her former husband, Robert Leon Hall, and her late husband, Robert Adams. Also, by her brothers: Ellis Prevatte, Garland Prevatte, and Wilbur Prevatte.

After having to drop out of school in the 8th grade to work, she went back to school in the 1980s and received her High School Diploma at RCC. Ola Mae was a very thorough Community Housing Manager at Lumberton Housing Authority for 25 years.

Ola Mae was driven and known for her spunk and fun personality. She loved traveling, singing, dancing, shopping, and having coffee on her front porch.

She was survived by her sister Elizabeth McCumbee (Richard). Her four children; Debra Sue Hill (Charles), Dolores Ann Miller (Baxter), Donna Lee Jackson (Michael), and Michael Leon Hall (Ann). Her legacy is continued by her grandchildren; Dianna, Ichae, Shane, Olivia, Michael, Phillip, Shaunda, Aaron, Brandi, Victoria, Molli, and Rachael. She also leaves behind twenty-six great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton NC.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Floyd Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Meadowbrook Cemetery, 400 E. 24th Street, Lumberton, NC. Rev. Russell Kinlaw Jr. will officiate the service.
