Mrs. Nina Rose Johnson, 63, of Fairmont, NC, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was born August 31, 1957 in Lumberton, NC, daughter of the late Billy Ray Johnson and Ida Brown Bullock Johnson.

She was an active member of Baltimore Baptist Church of Fairmont, NC and participated in many activities and committees when she was able. She loved her Lord and loved her church. Rose enjoyed decorating, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Rose served many years as the Administrative Assistant for Southeastern Regional Mental Health Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services and retired from Eastpointe Human Services.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lynwood Johnson, and her sister, Mary Evelyn Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Jason L. Johnson and wife Whitney Horne Johnson and Zachary E. Johnson and wife Amy Taylor Johnson, all of Fairmont, NC; a brother Billy Ray Johnson, Jr.; and her three grandchildren: Jaylyn W. Johnson, Eideen W. Johnson, and Lynwood J. Johnson.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM in the chapel.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
