Nina Jackson Brigman Grimsley, 89, of 107 Norton Road, died Sunday, July 20, 2008
at her residence. She was born to the late Cornelius and Nancy Bell Canon Jackson on
July 19, 1919 in Green Sea, SC.
She is survived by her husband, Bradley Grimsley of the home; her son, Dickey P.
Brigman of the home; 6 daughters, Jacqueline Bailey of South Mills, NC, Geraldine
Grimsley of Lumberton, Nancy Bass of Liberty, SC, Frances Long of Elizabethton, TN,
Vicki Graham of Garner and Doris Givens of Virginia Beach; her brother, Stancil
Jackson of Alaska; 2 step-daughters, Marsha Grimsley and Judy Hardee both of
Lumberton; 27 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Pentecostal
Faith of God Church with Rev. Russell Kinlaw, Sr. officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 22, 2008 from 7 to 9 P.M. at Floyd
Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
