Mrs. Nezzie Lee Hunt, age 90, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2022, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on October 27, 1931 to the late James Earl Hunt and the late Dora Hunt.

Along with her parents,  she was preceded in death by her husband, Bracy Lee Hunt; five brothers, Lazell Hunt, L.J. Hunt, James Wilton "Buddy" Hunt, Barver Dean "Bobby" Hunt, and Ardeen Hunt, and two sisters, Doreen Jacobs and Frances Hunt.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Hunt and wife Donna of Fairmont, NC; one daughter, Lisa Hunt of Mesa, AZ; two brothers, Larece Hunt and wife Audrey of Fairmont, NC and Gerald Hunt of Lumberton, NC; two sisters: Ruth Goins and husband Jimmy of Sebring, FL, and Mabel Revels of Maxton, NC, and four grandchildren, Robbie Hunt, and Jacy Hunt of Eugene, Ore., Elizabeth Gomez and Eli Carter of Fairmont, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at 2:00PM in Fairpoint Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC, with Rev. Charles Cummings and Rev. Marvin Hunt officiating.
