Nettie Hammonds Hunt, age 90, of Lumberton passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at her home.

She was born May 13, 1930 in Robeson County, NC.

She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She served as the love offering treasure of her Sunday School Class for many years and retire as a seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hammonds and Mary Ann Oxendine Hammonds; her husband, Willie Howard Hunt; a daughter, Mary Sue Butler and several siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her three daughters, Linda Jones (Pittman) of Lumberton, Brenda Mollo (Michael) also of Lumberton and Myrtle Hunt (John) of the home; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairmont with Revs. Lacy Lambert, Randolph Oxendine and Timmy Hunt officiating.
