Nettie Bell Thompson Cromwell, age 77, of Lumberton, NC, entered into eternal paradise to be with her Lord and Savior on April 9, 2013. Nell was born on May 28, 1935 to Sherman and Isabell Kinlaw Thompson in Bladenboro, NC. On September 1, 1954, she married the love of her life, her best friend and father of her four children, Sgt. Emory Marshall Cromwell, Jr. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kelly Thompson, Arthur Thompson and Thomas Thompson. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Alice and Ricky Morgan, Beverly and David Black, Ginger and Thomas Hinson and Jackie and Johnny Wilkins; her brothers, Sherman Thompson, Jr., Kenny Thompson (Sandy), Jimmy Earl Thompson (Marie) ; her sister, Katie Malloy (Steve); nine grandchildren, Tanya Edwards, Rebecca Black, Rikki Lynn Mofford, Amanda Morgan, Lil Rick Morgan, Denny Hucks, Emily Hunt, Kalyn Wilkins and Kane Wilkins; eight great-grandchildren, Brittany, Zach and Bryce Nobles, Alexis Hinson, Daniel Mofford, Kash Hammonds, Brandagan Hammonds, Tommy Hucks, Matt Hunt, Jalyn Locklear and Bentley Rogers; three very special and dear friends, Glenda Hinson, Marie Jacobs and Glenda Odum and a host of very special and loving nieces, nephews and friends.
