Mrs. Nell Caulk Leggett, age 73, of Fairmont, NC passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023. Mrs. Leggett was born December 30, 1949 in Robeson County, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton Kenneth Caulk and Illa Mae Baxley Caulk; a son, William "Will" Gerald Leggett, Jr.; three sisters, Jennie Lou Atkinson, Marilyn Hughes, and Libby Branch; her in-laws, Bracey and Lillian Leggett; a brother-in-law, Lynn Johnson; and one sister-in-law, Carolyn Caulk.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Leggett of Fairmont, NC; a son, Matthew Todd Leggett of New York; a grandson, William Taylor Leggett of Lumberton, NC; a brother, Kenneth Caulk; one sister, Ruby Kempf and husband, Dr. Charles Kempf of Michigan; three brothers-in-law, Carey Branch of Lumberton, NC, John Leggett and wife Sandy of Fairmont, NC, and Ronald Hughes of Fairmont, NC; a sister-in-law, Nancy Johnson of Fairmont, NC; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in  Fairmont, NC.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Bloomingdale Baptist Church, 1758 Bloomingdale Road in Orrum, NC, with Rev. Tommy Fields officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bloomingdale Baptist Church in memory of Nell Leggett.
