Ms. Nell Gaddy Fowler, age 89, of Fairmont passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. A Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont with Rev. Ronald Hughes officiating. Family will receive friends Saturday afternoon until 8:00PM at the home. She was born May 17, 1925 in Bennettsville, SC. She was a life long member of First Baptist Church in Fairmont. Preceded in death by her parents, Lester Gaddy and Ruth Patterson Gaddy; her husband, Aubrey Allen Fowler, Jr; two brothers, James Marshall Gaddy and Lester Gaddy; She is survived by one son, Allen Fowler of Fairmont; two daughters, Pat Ray of Jamestown, NC and Ruth Ann Brazill of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Elliott Ray, Anna Ray and Trey Brazill; one nephew, Marshall Gaddy; two nieces, Linda Avery and Beth Iannone.
