Neil Jerome Prevatte, age 90, of Saint Pauls, NC passed away peacefully at Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center in Whiteville, NC.

Neil was born in Robeson County on February 18, 1936 to the late William Clarence Prevatte and Atta Lee Page Prevatte. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his siblings, Sarah Lee Powell, Martha Louise Yeghoyan, Anthony Purdie Prevatte.

Neil was a 1954 graduate of Fairmont High School. Soon after graduating he joined the US Navy. He proudly served for six- and one-half years. Neil worked at Photo Cooperation of America in Charlotte, NC and Reno, Nevada retiring in 1999 and returning to Saint Pauls, NC.

Neil is survived by his siblings, William "Bill" Clarence Prevatte, Jr. and wife, Kittie, Vivian Faye Campbell, Samuel Page Prevatte, Delores Ellen Prevatte, Anita Rose Prevatte, special niece; Angela Brumbles, and a host of nieces and nephews and other family and loved ones.
