Nathan James Robert Willis, age 26, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021. He was born on July 4, 1995 in Morehead City, NC. He was a graduate of Lumberton Senior High School. Nathan loved to hunt, fish, and spend his days in the woods, earning the nickname "Buck".

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Willis.

He is survived by his son, River Marshall of Chadbourn, NC; his father, Dennis Howell of Lumberton, NC; his mother and stepfather, Crystal and James Parsons of Pembroke, NC; his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Shirley Howell of Lumberton, NC; his maternal grandparents, Alan and Sylvia Artz of Newport, NC; his maternal great-grandmother, Francis Dennis of Beaufort, NC; seven sisters: Erica, Krista, Pamela, Harmony, Sarah, Patience, and Aubrey; four brothers: Hunter, Jace, Kadein, and Li'l Nate; two maternal aunts, Maria McCreless and Mandy Osborne; two paternal uncles, Montrea Howell and Nicholas Howell; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Blanks Family Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
