Nathan Evans, age 57, of Lumberton, NC was pronounced dead on March 8, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on July 27, 1957 to the late Ralph H. Evans and the late Betty Lou Watts Evans. He was self-employed in the lawn care business. Mr. Evans is survived by a son, Jason Evans of Lumberton; brothers, Daniel Evans of Bladenboro and Joel Evans of Fairmont; and a sister, Wanda Evers of Bladenboro. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. George Connor officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
