Naomi Edwards C0llins, age 94, of Lumberton, NC died on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Woodhaven Nursing Center in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on June 22, 1923 to the late Frank and Sally McDuffie Edwards.  She was previously employed in child care with Jerry Ann.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Welton "Buck" Collins; brother, W.F. Edwards (Dot); and sisters, Dorothy Grubb (Lacy), Eleanor Miller (Horace), Miriam Evans (A.C.), and Brenda Putnam (Richard).

Mrs. Collins is survived by a daughter, Wanda Collins Aguirre (John) of Lumberton; brothers, Robert Edwards (Annie) of Georgetown, SC, and Bruce Edwards (Gwen) of Jacksonville, FL; a grandchild, Jonathan Aguirre; and many nieces and nephews.

A special word of appreciation goes to the "angels" at Woodhaven Rehabilitation for their loving care.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memory Gardens with Rev. David Hawes and Rev. Leslie Sessoms officiating.  A time for visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
