Mrs. Myrtle ??Bitsie? McNeill, 79, of 1518 Buie Philadelphus Road died October 6, 2010 at home in Buie.

Bitsie was born June 22, 1931 to the late Thomas Ewell and Myrtle Tuilis Wright. She was a member of Philadelphus Presbyterian Church, active in the Garden Club of NC and Christian Women??s Club of Lumberton.

Mrs. McNeill was preceded in death by her husband, William R. McNeill, Sr.

Mrs. McNeill is survived by a son, William R. McNeill, Jr. and wife, Col. Georgina Murray, a daughter, Katherine McNeill Goepp and husband, Edward F. Goepp and five grandsons, Edward F. Goepp, Jr., Kenneth D. Goepp ane wife, Brittany, Daniel C. Goepp, William R. McNeill III and wife, Dynasty and Matthew P. McNeill.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Philadelphus Presbyterian Church with Tad Cates, CLP officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday evening, October 8, 2010 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
