Mrs. Myrtle Grey Kressley, age 88, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Lumberton. She was born in Craven County on July 9, 1926. Mrs. Kressley was a dedicated homemaker, mother and gardener. She loved her dogs dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Kressley, parents, Joshua Emery Ewell and Gladys Cleve Ewell, two brothers, Marvin Jones and Wilbur Jones. She is survived by son, James (Al) Kressley of Lumberton; two daughters, Emry K. Glover of Punxsutawney, PA and Mrs. Sandra K. Berry of Lumberton; one brother, Raymond P. Jones of Mechanicsville, VA and two grandchildren, Elyse G. Fuller of Tuxedo Park, NY and Jud Glover of Punxsutawney, PA. Private services will be held at a later date.
