Myrtle Faye Hester Jolly, age 80 of Lumberton, NC died on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. She was born in Bladen County on September 16, 1932 to the late Thomas Hester and the late Lois Mercer Hester. She was a teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County and wrote the blueprint for the State of NC for her interior design class. She was an avid reader and after retiring, she volunteered for 19 years at Tanglewood School helping children learn to read. Mrs. Jolly is survived by her husband, Hubert Jolly of the home; daughters, Elaine Jolly Davis and husband Gary of Lumberton and Joy Jolly Bisesi and husband Phil of Pittsboro; sisters, Beverly Bryant of Bladenboro and Velma Sanders of Morganton; and grandchildren, Callie Davis, Rachel Evensen, Cailin Evensen, and Elijah Evensen.
