Mrs. Myrtice Mock Golden, age 89, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Barbour County, AL on June 9, 1931 to the late Jesse Jackson Mock and the late Estelle Fuqua Mock.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, S.L. "Bo" Golden; a brother, Carson Mock; and three sisters: Emmie Eubanks, Ruby Harris, and Alice Bartlett.

She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Bergstresser and husband Bruce of Lumberton, NC; three grandchildren: Max and wife Natalie, Melody, and Mark and fiancée Amy; four great-grandchildren: Justin Bergstresser and wife Demry, Samuel Woods, and Eden Bergstresser; a brother, Clovis Mock of Phenix City, AL; a sister, Ruth Roberts of Smiths Station, AL; and many other family and friends.

A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, GA.
