Ms. Myra Otis Kinderknecht, age 79, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015, at Genesis HealthCare Center in Pembroke. She was born in Birmingham, AL to the late James Marion Johnson and the late Lois Tuggle Johnson. She was previously employed in civil service with the Air National Guard.

She is survived by one son, Anthony Kinderknecht and wife Martha of Germany; one daughter, Monica Moreno and husband Brian of Illinois; and four grandchildren: Damien, Elaine, Emma Jane, and Maria June.

A time of visitation will take place on Friday, January 1, 2016, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. David Anderson officiating.
