Molly Grace Nance Chicelli, 96, of Aberdeen, NC, formerly of Lumberton, NC, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her home.

She is survived by her 5 children: Mary Anne Chicelli-Cribbs of Pinehurst, NC, Kathryn Chicelli-Plant of Aberdeen, NC, Anthony Chicelli of Wilmington, NC, David Chicelli of Aberdeen, NC, and Daniel Chicelli and wife Robin of Hickory, NC; her grandchildren: Russ Cribbs and wife Lynn of Pinehurst, NC, Toni Cribbs Carpenter and husband Hugh of Holly Springs, NC, Stacey Chicelli Browne and husband Garretson of Raleigh, NC and Michael and Molly Chicelli, both of Hickory, NC; and four great-grandchildren: Jacoby and Katie Carpenter of Holly Springs, NC, Oliver Cribbs of Pinehurst, NC, and Garretson Browne, Jr. of Raleigh, NC.

Mrs. Chicelli was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Chicelli; her parents, Charles W. & Belle Singletary Nance; and all 10 of her brothers and sisrers.

A devout Catholic, Mrs. Chicelli was a parishioner at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lumberton, NC for nearly 70 years. She volunteered at both the church and the school. She also volunteered at The Robeson County History Museum and at Golden Living Center in Lumberton, NC.
