Mitchell Hunt, age 61, of Fairmont, NC passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

He was born November 7, 1963 in Robeson County.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, Hanson (Buster) Hunt.

He is survived by three daughters, Kyran Hunt of Prospect, Brooke Hunt and Chelsea Hunt, both of Lumberton; his mother, Mary Lois Hunt of Fairmont; one brother, Michael (Norma Carol) of Pembroke; two sisters, Lisa Hunt (Terry), and Vonda Hunt, both of Fairmont; three grandchildren and a special friend, Angela Dial of Red Springs and a host of other relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 2:00-3:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 3:00PM. Burial will be in Fairpoint Free Will Baptist cemetery, across from the funeral home .
