Miriam Hunt Young, age 65 of Lumberton passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville.

Visitation will be held Sunday June 18,2017 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Funeral services will be held Sunday June 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Revs. Marcus Dorsey and Timmy Hunt officiating.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

She was born August 16, 1951 in Robeson County, NC.

She was preceded in death by her father, L.C. Hunt; and daughter, Gerta Hunt.

She is survived by her mother LaRue Hunt; two daughters, Mironda Muhammad (Harvey) of Greensboro, NC, and Lanita Clark; six grandchildren, Darrin Stephens Sr. (Angela) of Bloomington, IN, Darius Lesane, John Hunt, Michaela Gurley (Devon) of Fayetteville, NC, Katelyn Hunt, and Malcolm Hunt; and two great grandchildren, Darrin Stephens Jr., and Jayson Stephens.
