Miriam Johnson Suggs, 48, of 140 Holly Britt Court, Bladenboro, NC, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was born to the late Willard A. Johnson and Edith Hester Johnson on August 8, 1960 in Bladen County, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents Williard A. Johnson and Edith Hester Johnson and a son, A. Dan Kinlaw.

She is survived by her husband A. Wilton Suggs, Jr. of the home; 3 sons, Alan Kinlaw of Manchester, NH, Ashley Kinlaw of Salisbury, MD and Jeremy Suggs of Lumberton, NC; 1 daughter, Allison Suggs of Lumberton, NC; 4 brothers, Merle Johnson, Gregory Johnson and Larry Johnson all of Bladenboro, NC and Joel Johnson of Lewiston, NC; 3 sisters, Deborah Kelly and Mary \\"Edie\\" McKnight both of Bladenboro, NC and Greta Jackson of Clarkton, NC; 3 grandchildren, Taylor Ryan Carter, Hunter Suggs and Aiden Pulanco.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory in Lumberton, NC.

The memorial service will be Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Tar Heel Middle School at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Patrick Sinclair officiating.
