Mrs. Miriam L. McLellan ,90, Fairmont, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019, peacefully, at home.

She was born August 7, 1928 in Robeson County, N.C.

Mrs. McLellan was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Lewis and Sallie Jackson Lewis, her husband, Mr. Bill McLellan, and a brother, Gilbert Lewis.

Mrs. McLellan was a lifelong member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and served as church secretary for many years and was also a homemaker.

Mrs. McLellan is survived by her two sons, Robbie and wife Karen and Daryl and wife Susanne, all of Fairmont; four grandchildren: Laike Watts, Krista McLellan, Dale Godfrey, and Tabitha McNeill; five great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of friends and family, whom she loved dearly.

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019, from 2pm-3pm at Bethesda United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3pm  at Bethesda United Methodist Church, located at 4413 Leggett Road in Fairmont.

Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery, Leggett Rd. in Fairmont.
